Account verification and stats upload

Preparing an account involves proving ownership and checking available audience data. The route depends on the account state and the actions available on its card.

For manual verification, upload the requested statistics so videos can move to moderation. Signing in through the social platform may supply data automatically. If ownership is confirmed but audience data were not shared and the card allows work to continue, a screen recording is not an extra mandatory step for every such account.

This guide describes the flow in the VibeVO mini app in Telegram. The mini app opens from the VibeVO bot. The same screens are also available in the web dashboard at creator.vibevo.io.

The fastest route: sign in with the platform

For YouTube, one button covers both steps. Open My Socials, click "Connect account" on the account card, and sign in to your social network. The platform confirms the account is yours and keeps sending the stats — no code in the profile description, no screen recording.

When it works out, the card shows a green "YouTube connected" marker and the date the stats were last refreshed.

  • Signing in with Instagram is not available yet — we are waiting for the platform to confirm it. Prove Instagram and VK Video accounts by hand, as described below.
  • Once signing in with Instagram opens up, it will only work for a professional account — Business or Creator. Switching is free and takes a minute in the Instagram settings.
  • If the platform confirmed ownership but did not share audience geography and demographics (that happens with smaller accounts), nothing is held back: the account is proven, the follower count keeps updating, and videos go to moderation. Want advertisers to see your audience? Upload a screen recording as described below.

You can revoke access at any time: account card → "⋯" → "Disconnect access". The proof of ownership and your posts stay.

1. How to connect and verify an account by hand

Open settings

Open the VibeVO mini app and tap the VibeVO logo. Then tap "Settings".

Open "My accounts"

Scroll down through the settings and find the "Linked social accounts" section. Tap "My accounts".

Add an account

Tap "Add account".

Choose a platform

Choose the platform whose account you want to connect. Then paste the link to your profile.

Complete verification

Follow the instructions on the screen:

  1. Copy the code that VibeVO shows you.
  2. Add the code to your profile. Open the profile you are connecting and paste the copied code into the profile description. Save the changes.
  3. Check the account. Go back to VibeVO and tap "Check". Once the check succeeds, the account is verified.

2. How to link stats to an account

A manual recording is needed when the account card requests statistics, or when you want to add audience data the connected platform did not share. An allowed ownership-confirmed, audience-unavailable state does not block submission solely because geography and demographics are missing. Follow the current account status and prompts.

Use the current VibeVO code and show the requested statistics sections in a continuous recording. Check the code expiry in the form; renew an expired code before recording again. If there is an error, read its specific reason rather than resending the same material unchanged.

Open settings

Tap the VibeVO logo, then choose "Settings".

Choose an account

Scroll down through the settings and find the "Upload your account stats" section. Tap the profile you want to link stats to.

Start a screen recording

Follow the instructions on the screen:

  1. Start a screen recording. Within the first 30 seconds of the recording, show the code that VibeVO provided.
  2. Open your profile. Go to the profile you connected to VibeVO and open the account stats section.
  3. Choose a period. Set the stats period to 28 days or 30 days, depending on the platform.
  4. Show your audience stats. The screen recording must show:
    • audience gender;
    • audience age;
    • audience geography (GEO).

Upload the recording

Once you have shown all the required information, stop the screen recording. Go back to VibeVO, tap "Choose file" and select the screen recording you made. After selecting the file, tap "Upload for review".

If your profile has no stats

If the platform does not provide profile stats, you can use the stats of a single video. In that case, open the stats of any suitable video and show the audience data.

The key requirement: the stats must show:

  • gender;
  • age;
  • audience GEO.

If this data is available in the video stats, you can use such a recording to upload your stats.

Done!

You have now completed both required steps:

  • Account connected and verified ✅
  • Stats uploaded and linked ✅

After that, the account is ready to work with offers and to send videos for moderation.
