Creator progress and gamification

Gamification helps creators keep a daily rhythm: upload videos, protect a streak, grow a level, and compete in divisions. Earnings stay the main motivation; XP makes regular work visible as status and future unlocks.

Key rule
Streaks do not multiply XP and do not change payouts. They track active days, unlock milestones, and keep the daily habit visible.

Where progress appears

  • Dashboard shows today's action, money summary, and a compact progress card. Money depth lives in Wallet; status depth lives on /progress.
  • Progress screen has Levels as the default tab, plus Achievements, XP History, and Divisions.
  • Telegram bot supports the โ€œ๐Ÿ”ฅ Progressโ€ button, /progress and /streak, inline screens for daily quests, divisions, leaderboard, and achievements, plus a WebApp button that opens the full progress screen.

XP and ledger history

XP is granted for confirmed actions: connecting and verifying accounts, uploading account stats, first submit, fixing rejected videos, approved videos, active days, daily quests, settled earnings, view milestones, and achievements.

  • Every grant appears in XP History with date, source, XP delta, and resulting balance.
  • Internal codes are hidden; creators see human labels like โ€œ100 days on fireโ€ or โ€œVideo approvedโ€.
  • The XP ledger is idempotent, so retries must not duplicate rewards.

Levels and perks

Level is based on lifetime XP and never expires. The curve is 20 ร— Nยฒ XP to reach level N. The Levels tab shows a vertical roadmap with the current title, future locked titles, XP to the next level, and the next perk.

  • Titles go from Rookie to VibeVO Grandmaster.
  • Perks include streak freeze, moderation priority, and early access to new offers.
  • The UI shows how much XP remains before the next level.

Streaks and daily quests

A streak day counts when at least one uploaded video for that day is later approved by moderation. Approval can happen later; the activity date is still credited retroactively.

  • A freeze can save one missed day.
  • Milestones at 2, 3, 5, 7, 14, 30, and 100 days create celebration moments and bonus XP.
  • The daily quest is one task per day and appears as a checklist, not as a second progress bar.

Achievements

Achievements are a permanent badge collection. Unlocked badges show artwork; locked badges are dimmed and explain what to do next.

  • Basic achievements cover first approved video, 100 videos, payouts, and streaks.
  • Platform achievements cover TikTok, Shorts, Reels, and VK Video.
  • Campaign achievements cover campaign types, exclusives, early submissions, and completed campaigns.
  • Competition achievements include weekly champion and first Diamond division.

Divisions and leaderboard

Divisions are the creator competitive ladder: Starter, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. The leaderboard ranks creators by XP earned in the current period, not lifetime XP.

  • The table shows rank, weekly XP, streak, and promotion/safe/demotion zones.
  • Rotation moves creators up and down between neighboring divisions.
  • The leaderboard is not configured separately. Admins configure division parameters using the same logic as referral leagues: capacity, demotion slots, visuals, and rotation period. Promotion slots are derived from space and demotions in the division above.
  • Rotation periods support 1, 2, 3, or 4 week cycles and can be run automatically or manually.

States and feature flag

  • New creators see an empty progress state with a first-upload CTA.
  • When a streak is at risk, dashboard and bot explain that today's upload protects it.
  • If progress data is unavailable, the money dashboard keeps working and progress fails softly.
  • The feature is gated by creator_gamification.
