Moderation rules for advertisers

Rules that apply to all VibeVO advertisers. Once a campaign passes moderation, it becomes available to creators β€” so the quality of the brief and creatives is the advertiser's responsibility.

The essentials in one sentence
Don't advertise prohibited categories, don't mislead, provide a complete and clear brief, and don't try to bypass the platform β€” that's enough to get your campaign approved on the first try.

1. Prohibited product and service categories

VibeVO does not allow advertising of the following categories:

  • Tobacco products, e-cigarettes, vapes, hookahs
  • Alcoholic beverages (except campaigns with confirmed age labeling and a license in the display territory)
  • Gambling, online casinos, betting services without a valid license in the display country
  • Pyramid schemes, MLM schemes, "guaranteed investments" and dubious NFTs
  • Adult content (18+) and dating services with explicit content
  • Weapons, ammunition, self-defense items without certification
  • Medications and supplements without a license and confirmed medical claims
  • Services that violate the laws of the targeting country

2. Truthfulness of advertising claims

All claims in a campaign must be truthful and verifiable. On VibeVO it is prohibited to:

  • Exaggerate or fabricate results ("earned a million in a week")
  • Use fake reviews and fabricated screenshots
  • Disguise advertising as a news piece, government service, or expert opinion without disclosing its commercial nature
  • Use other people's faces, voices, or names without written consent
  • Make competitor comparisons without objective verified data (tests, certificates, research)

3. Creative requirements

Creatives uploaded to a campaign must meet the technical requirements:

  • Images: PNG or JPG, minimum 1200Γ—628 pixels, readable text
  • Video: MP4, up to 60 seconds, resolution from 720p, clean audio
  • Logos and banners in original quality, without visible compression artifacts
  • No content protected by third-party copyrights without a license

4. Brief requirements

The brief is the creator's instruction. Its completeness determines how closely the video matches your expectations. The brief must include:

  • What to advertise: product, service, brand (including links to the website and social media)
  • Key talking points the creator must cover
  • Format and duration requirements for the integration
  • Minimum screen share for the logo/banner and its placement in the video
  • Restrictions: what must not be said, shown, or compared
  • Target audience and tone of communication

5. Market CPM and targeting

The CPM rate must match the selected geo and content category. An obviously underpriced rate leads to a moderator rejection with a recommendation to raise the price. Use the built-in recommended CPM calculator when creating a campaign, and for complex geo β€” the Geo Pricing tool.

6. Platform bypass ban

All communication, agreements, and payment for integrations must go through VibeVO. Prohibited:

  • Contacting a creator directly and offering payment "outside the platform", including partially
  • Using creator data from VibeVO for cold outreach about other products
  • Pressuring creators to delete or modify videos after publication, bypassing moderation
Consequences
If a platform bypass is detected, the campaign is closed and the advertiser account is banned. In some cases, the information may be handed over to law enforcement.

7. Refunds and compensation

VibeVO automatically refunds the advertiser in the following cases:

  • The anti-fraud system flagged view inflation β€” the corresponding views are deducted and funds are returned
  • A campaign was closed at VibeVO's initiative due to a creator's rule violation

Refunds on other grounds (changed mind, marketing plan changed) are reviewed by support individually and are not guaranteed.

8. Team access

If there are multiple users in an account, the organization owner is responsible for the actions of all team members. See Team collaboration.

9. Referral program

Advertisers can bring colleagues and other advertisers through the referral program and earn a share of the platform commission. Prohibited:

  • Registering "fake" advertisers under your own control to inflate referral numbers
  • Using multiple accounts to earn referral commission from your own spending
  • Spamming your referral link in public channels in violation of their rules

10. VibeVO's right to final decision and appeal

In disputed situations, the final decision on accepting or rejecting a campaign rests with the VibeVO moderation team. If you disagree with a decision, submit an appeal through support within 7 days of the rejection, with additional supporting arguments.
